Delivery
All orders over £70 nett of VAT are free from delivery charges for UK mainland customers. An estimated delivery date will be displayed at the checkout and is dependant on the items ordered. In some rare circumstances, there may be an increased delay but we endeavour to inform you as soon as possible. If you have a query regarding stock, please call before placing your order.
For any orders that are not UK Mainland, namely Scottish Highlands, Islands, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, an increased carriage charge is applied and orders will be subject to carriage charge regardless of order value. No free carriage option is available for non-UK mainland areas.
The following postcode prefixes are subject to a £24.50 +VAT carriage charge:
KW1 to KW14, AB31 to AB38, AB40 to AB56, IV1 to IV28, IV30 to IV32, IV36 to IV40, IV52 to IV54, IV63, PA21 to PA38, PH4 to PH41, PH49, PH50, BT1 to BT94.
The following postcode prefixes are subject to a £45 +VAT carriage charge:
HS1 to HS9, IV41 to IV49, IV51, IV55, IV56, KA27, KA28, KW15 to, KW17, PA20, PA41 to PA49, PA60 to PA78, PH42, PH44, IM1 to IM9, GY1 to GY10, ZE1 to ZE3, PO30 to PO41, TR21 to TR25, JE1 to JE5 and any other non UK mainland postcodes.
European Delivery
We are currently not shipping to Europe or Internationally due to problems with Customs and carriage charges
International Delivery
Crosbys cannot control any customs or import duties applied to your package by your local customs. Any outstanding customs charges or import duties must be paid by the customer.
Crosbys cannot be held responsible for these charges.
Customs charges or import duties are not included in the price of your items ordered.
Crosbys cannot advise on the cost as the customs charges can vary from country to country.
If you refuse to accept delivery of the items you have purchased, due to these charges, the couriers may return the items back to Crosbys
In the event of a return to sender, your refund for your order will be completed once it is received back to our warehouse.
This does exclude larger or bespoke items, where the 25% re-stocking charges apply.
This doesn't include the cost paid for shipping as this part of your order was attempted.
Cancellation
Orders can be cancelled anytime until the order has been dispatched. You can cancel your order by contacting us through email only web@crosbys.co.uk.
Returns
Returns and returns forms can only be requested by email at web@crosbys.co.uk
All returns must have an accompanying returns authorisation number. Failure to obtain a returns number may result in the product(s) or order being refused for credit, deliveries to Crosbys Catering Supplies Ltd may also be refused and/or returned to you.
Returns numbers will not normally be issued beyond 30 calendar days of delivery, unless the item is to be returned as part of a warranty claim. Any returns under warranty will be repaired rather than replaced or refunded. Once a returns number has been issued, all returns must be received within 14 calendar days; No credits can be issued beyond this period.
Refunds will be made after all checks have been made, this can take upto 30 days from receipt during busy periods.
We currently don't accept any returns for Utopia products, samples are available on request if you are unsure.
Products that are no longer required or incorrectly ordered
A restocking charge of 25% will be applied to all returns, This charge is subject to change with any non-stock items, these items will be subject to the manufacturers own restocking fees schedule.
The cost of returning any goods that are no longer required or that have been incorrectly ordered is the responsibility of the Buyer and not Crosbys Catering Supplies Ltd.
All returns must be received in an unused and resalable condition in original packaging. Goods received that are used, damaged or with missing packaging cannot be refunded and will either be returned to the buyer at their own cost or destroyed with the buyer's consent.
Any items that are either made to order or are of bespoke production are strictly non-returnable.
Where equipment is purchased from Crosbys Catering Supplies Ltd via a leasing partner; A signed agreement from the leasing provider will be judged by Crosbys Catering Supplies Ltd an instruction to proceed with the order.
Faulty Items
Warranty on all products is dependent on the manufacturers policy; If you are unsure then please contact us for more information on a specific product.
In some cases faulty equipment reported to Crosbys Catering Supplies Ltd must be made accessible for inspection either by Crosbys Catering Supplies Ltd, its subcontractors or the products manufacturer before any remedial action can be taken.
Confirmation that equipment or parts have been fitted by a qualified engineer or competent person trained to work on the manufacturer's equipment may also be required and is a condition of warranty for all equipment sold by Crosbys Catering Supplies Ltd.
Undeliverable goods
In the case of heavy equipment, all deliveries are strictly to the kerbside unless unpacking and siting has been agreed. In this instance it is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure that any items ordered fit through any access available to the building. Our delivery personnel are not responsible for the removal of any doors, windows or other access points in order to facilitate the siting of equipment.
If equipment is unable to be sited within the building at the immediate time of delivery a return carriage / failed delivery charge and a restocking charge of 25% will be made.
Damages
All damages must be reported by email to web@crosbys.co.uk within 24 hours of delivery and must include photographic evidence. Damage claims outside of this period may not be processed.
In most instances a refund or an offer of replacement will be made.
In the case of international deliveries outside of the United Kingdom; Crosbys Catering Supplies Ltd reserves the right to refund damaged items rather than replace them.
